Learn how easy it is to make pinwheels then add them to a simple-to-construct "DISAPPEARING" block. Use your favorite fabrics, neutrals or bold, bright or softer. A great way to use larger prints. A variety of border options will be taught.  Pattern fee required.

ON THE LILY POND: 

This replica of an antique quilt looks far more complex than it is. Learn many tips for speedy piecing and improve your accuracy with beautiful blocks. A variety of Setting Options are provided. Great for ALL skill levels. Use soft old-timey fabrics or bold, contemporary choices. Pattern/Kit fee required.

Learn to make this exciting pieced quilt using your favorite fabrics. Strip piecing makes the large stars easy. The sashing stars add excitement and use that stash you’ve been saving. IT'S A PUZZLE:

This quilt looks complicated but is actually very simple. Use leftover fabric strips to make this fast block, then enjoy creating various pattern designs. 3", 4"or 6"blocks, the choice is yours. A great project for when you just want to sew, and not have to think too hard. Fun in a large group, so many fabrics to admire. A great 3 hour workshop. Pattern/kit fee required.

Use your choice of fabrics, from 1800's reproduction to bright, contemporary to make this easy Star block. Techniques covered include paper piecing, hand or machine applique, fantastic color selection, and lots of tips and tricks for accurate piecing. Pattern required and is included in the Kit.

Have Charm packs you don't know what to do with? Learn 4 fast and fun blocks using 5" squares to make 3" blocks. Techniques taught include paper piecing, speed sewing flying geese, Nine patches so fast, and X Blocks--stack and shuffle. All techniques can be used for larger blocks too. Pattern Fee required. TWO-FOR-ONE:  

Queen Size

This quilt is SO MUCH FUN!  This quilt uses blocks made in the trip around the world style.  You will sew a lot, making strata, then cut and sew in a very organized way to create 2 fantastic blocks--one light and one dark. You will love how different the same fabrics will look in reverse order.  I send lengthy instructions for how to pick your fabrics and pre-cut if you like, before class.  A very popular workshop! A design class that is FUN! Spend the first half of class making simple blocks, then play with a variety of layouts to choose your favorite. Learn to paper piece the entire star with NO set-in piecing.  You'll be amazed at your accuracy.  One star makes a great center medallion, many stars make a fabulous quilt.  Day and a Half OR Two Day Workshop.  Pattern required and is included in the Kit.

SOUTHERN SUPER STAR:

Make a “Lone Star” Quilt the easy way—NO DIAMONDS!  Using only half-square triangles you can successfully make this traditional, favorite quilt design.  Learn several methods of half-square triangle construction.  This is my go-to quilt for a college graduation gift.  Full Day Workshop.  Pattern required and is included in the Kit.

ANTIQUE ROSE STAR:

 Always have this great project ready to go—the perfect travel project for hand work.  Learn to cut shapes out quickly, and hand piece simple units. Machine piece for faster assembly--the EASY way to  make Y-Seams will amaze.  See new variations too. This is such a popular class--hand or machine, you decide--both can be taught in the same workshop.  Use your favorite fabrics and this will be your favorite quilt.  Full Day Workshop. THE VILLAGE, AKA QUILTERS SCRAP HOUSES:

These adorable 5" paper-pieced house blocks are such a fun way to learn paper-piecing. A "Dorito" block--you just want to keep making them. Use small scraps and make a neighborhood.  Kit Fee includes papers for eight houses and masters for more. Add a sky filled with easy-to-make 4" stars to complete your neighborhood. Full day or Half day workshop. Pattern Fee required.
